ChipFix is an owner-operated business specialising in mobile windscreen chip and crack repairs. We have been repairing windscreens since 2016, helping motorists deal with damaged glass without the inconvenience of taking their vehicle to a workshop.
With technicians in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town, we come to your home or workplace and carry out the repair where your vehicle is parked. You deal with a business that takes a personal interest in the work, with the convenience of technicians based in the areas we serve.
Our Gauteng service areas include Johannesburg, Randburg, Sandton, Roodepoort, Krugersdorp, Midrand, Centurion, Pretoria, Alberton, Germiston, Boksburg, Benoni and Kempton Park. We also provide mobile repairs in Cape Town.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make windscreen repairs straightforward, convenient and affordable. A stone chip should not mean rearranging your day to visit a workshop. We bring the repair service to you, explain what can be done and confirm the price before starting.
We focus on repairing suitable damage so you can keep your existing windscreen. If the damage cannot be repaired, we will tell you honestly.
Chip and Crack Repairs
Windscreen chip and crack repairs are our core service. We repair stone chips and assess cracks up to 15 cm long for repair suitability. We do not offer windscreen replacements.
Before starting, our technician checks the damage and explains what you can expect from the repair. Sending a clear photograph when you enquire helps us assess the damage, with suitability confirmed in person.
